Danh Huynh is a 4th year pre-med undergraduate. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology Physiology and behavior at UC Davis. She has been working in lab since summer 2011 as a student research assistant. Although her major mainly focus on human physiology and medicine, she is also interested in plant-pathogen interactions. She has been involved in various projects studying tomato fruit ripening and its resistance to Botrytis. Currently she is assisting in validating tomato cell wall genes expression changes in response to infection from Botrytis. In the future, she plans to attend medical school and pursue a career in medicine.
